Since 2010 By His Grace has been sharing the Gospel in Song.

By His Grace began as a mixed trio and over the years has evolved into a Dynamic Duo of Progressive Southern Gospel Music.

With two part harmony and seamless arrangements you will find the blend of voices to be second to none.

But most important is the testimony and mission of the message presented.

Our mission is to give God all the Glory and praise him in every way. To uplift and Glorify his name. To be a witness to the lost and inspiration to the Saved.

Joshua Jackson

Joshua sings the Tenor part, as well as helping out with musical arrangements. This is Joshua’s first experience with a Southern gospel group and he is excited to see what the Lord has in store for him and for the group.

Joshua Studied Music Education with a concentration in choral directing at Oakland University and looks forward to using his talents and education for the Lord!

From a very young age Joshua was involved with music from singing with the junior worship class at church to entertaining the family at home while he was suppose to be eating his dinner! He continued on with musical theater productions and men’s choir in high school, several community theater productions after high school and then finally with the University chorus.

Joshua is the choral director and worship leader at Bethel MBC in Sterling heights, Michigan.  He has held this position since he began his studies at Oakland.

It is only “By His Grace” that our song may continue and may all the praise and honor and glory go to our Lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Phil Taylor

Phil is the Lead Singer/Songwriter

Phil has been around Gospel Music all of his life, Singing in groups since he was 16 years of age. Phil began singing at the early age of 5 years old where he sang solo’s in church with his Mother playing the piano.

Phil was raised in the General Baptist Church where his Father and Grandfather were Pastors. Phil is the sound technician and assistant Music Director at his home church, is very active with the youth group and all of the audio and visual production.

Phil has been in several groups throughout his life such as;

Shiloh, The Pendletons, The Golden Keys Quartet, The Sons of Redemption, New Destiny, The Gospelmen, One AcHord and now By His Grace.

Phil writes most of the music and the arrangements along with Joshua. Phil has written several songs to date including our number 1 charting singles “Nobody/Everybody” and “Give me the strength to let go”
